Privacy Policy

Almanac is a Mac, iPhone and iPad app that keeps a daily history of your Cloudflare Web Analytics, App Store Connect and Stripe numbers. In short: Almanac has no server and no account of its own, and collects no data about you. This policy covers the app and this website at almanac.mgcrea.io.

Summary

• Every request goes straight from your device to Cloudflare, Apple or Stripe. Nothing passes through us.
• Your Cloudflare sign-in and your App Store Connect and Stripe keys are stored in the Keychain.
• Your history is stored on your devices and in your private iCloud database, which we cannot read.
• No analytics, telemetry or advertising SDK is in the app. This website keeps cookieless visitor statistics, described below.

What the app talks to

• Cloudflare, to sign you in and to read your Web Analytics, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
• Apple, to read App Store Connect reports with the API key you provide, and to sync your history through iCloud (CloudKit, private database).
• Stripe, to read settled balances and checkout sessions with the restricted key you provide. Almanac refuses a secret key, because it could move money.

The sign-in redirect. Signing in with Cloudflare on iPhone and iPad returns through a web address on almanac.mgcrea.io, because Apple only hands a sign-in back to an app associated with a domain. The system intercepts that redirect before the page loads; the page exists for the rare case a browser shows it, and it stores nothing.

The MCP server on the Mac answers only MCP clients on the same Mac, read-only unless you allow more. It does not listen to the network.

What we never receive

• Your sites, apps, products, figures or history.
• Your keys, tokens or account identifiers.
• Usage metrics, crash reports or advertising identifiers. If you share analytics with Apple system-wide, that data is Apple's, handled under your Apple privacy settings.

Purchases

Almanac Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we receive no payment details and no identity, only what Apple reports to every developer in aggregate.

Feedback form

The app collects nothing; this website has one page that does: the feedback form, and only when you fill it in and press send. The app never sends feedback itself; it opens that page in your browser and stops.

We receive what you typed, the subject and details, and your email address if you chose to give one. Opening the form from the app also fills in four technical facts: your Almanac version, your OS version, your device's model identifier (like Mac16,10) and your language. They arrive in the web address itself, so you can read them in the address bar before anything is sent, and the form shows them as ordinary fields you can edit or clear. That is the whole list: never a site, an app, a key or a figure from your history.

Submissions are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database in Western Europe and emailed to support@mgcrea.io so we can reply. We keep them for twelve months, then delete them. They are never used for marketing, sold or shared. The form sets no cookie, and the code that handles a submission never reads or stores your IP address. To have one deleted sooner, email us.

Website analytics

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It is part of the website only, not of the app. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device: no identifier is kept between page loads, and neither your browser nor your IP address is fingerprinted. Because nothing is written to or read from your device, no consent banner is needed under the ePrivacy Directive (in France, Article 82 of the loi Informatique et Libertés), and there is none.

Sent on each page view: the page address, the referring address, your browser and operating system, your screen size, and page-load timings. Cloudflare derives an approximate country from your IP address and does not pass the address to us. We see aggregate totals only. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in understanding how our own site is used; Cloudflare acts as our processor. The theme you pick on this site is remembered in your browser's local storage, on your device only.

Children

Almanac is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Your rights

We hold no personal data from the app, so there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Your history lives on your devices and in your iCloud; deleting the app and its iCloud data removes it. For feedback you sent, email us.

Changes

We will update this page if Almanac's data handling changes, and move the date above when we do.
